THE BIO BREAK A CHANCE FOR THE TOP Records were set for one reason . . . to be broken. The 1986 junior high track team put a lot of meaning behind these words. With Jarvis Conic breaking records in the high jump, the long jump, the quarter and 400 meter dash, the season proved to be a successful one. The girls finished their season with a record-breaking relay team consisting of Jana Turner, Lisa Charleston, Amanda Gibbs, and Carla York. They broke records in the 400 meter and 800 meter relays. The record breakers realized that their record might not stand permanently as a school record, but in each person there was the feeling of accomplishment that would last forever.
