The interests of the students, typical of any co-educational group, were centered about the football team, the cheering section, and romance. Doug Hewing, star football player, faced two problems--building a winning team and solving personal differences with his girlfriend, Maxine Doran--newly-elected Campus Qieerl. When hopes were lowest, Grandpa and Tex, two unusual characters, enrolled at the college, where they ironed out all difficulties and brought happiness to all. Each member carries on a supervised farm program designed to help establish him in the business of farming at an early age. Approximately fifteen thousand dollars is invested by members of the O'Neil1 chapter. A purebred Yorkshire swine project was carried on by the chapter this year.
