' Homecoming of 1975 started off, with a bang from the be- ginning of the Week. Monday was sloppy day, Tuesday was generation day, Wednesday was Red, White, and Blue day, Thursday was honky! hippie day, and Friday was spirit day and also the annual parade. All the classes and clubs entered the floats they had made during the week. They were judged and the Seniors won first between the classes, the VICA club won first between the clubs. Even after the loss to Dove Creek the spirits were still high and the dance was a memorable event. During half-time the excitement and anticipation of waiting for the moment when the queens would be crowned was almost unbear- able. When the big moment finally came Mrs. Cheryl Mier was crowned queen and the candidated were: Shawna Williams, Leah Blake, and Debbie Brickhaus.
