Spirits High, Scores Low Boys ' White Basketball team was not a complete loss. They practiced hard but victory always seemed to be out of reach. Their coach was Mr. Pliny Jackson. There was a total of 15 stu- dents on the team. They practiced daily throughout the season. They worked hard and stayed in great shape. Most of the team agreed that the cheerleaders helped them make it through a game. By the end of the season all the team players agreed everyone had im- proved. Kenny Tze said, It just wasn ' t our year. Maybe they didn ' t win a lot of games, but their sports- manship was the best. 132 Boys ' White Basketball
