They were received by The Duke and Duchess of Bologne. The roaring conTinued for fifTeen minuTes and died ouT as The demonsTraTion which had been arranged To precede The race, began. They were very colorful and very noisy. buT were compleTely drowned ouT when a gang of FascisTs, led by Thomas De- Cerbo. broke pasT The guards and sTarTed a small revoluTion wiTh The SocialisTs. This is only The beginning, folks! Then, afTer a flourish on The piccolo by AlberT Friedman, Ten horses were led ouT To The sTarTing line.
