At the beginning of the year, all students were invited to participate in the Pep Club, and ones who were most interested in giving their time did so. This time went to the making of pep ribbons, which were sold to the student body and faculty, and the mak- ing of posters which were placed in the gym or on the football field for the players' enjoyment after half time. The officers elected to serve this year worked hard and actively to accomplish the purpose of this organization. Pep Club, you did a great job! Organizations!49

, W . A? 1 5Z Leaders among leaders of spirit-that's our Pep Squad Leaders amongst leaders of spirit - that's our Pep Squad. For the first year, this squad of spiriters has added to its regulars lcheerleadersl a Flag Squad, Drill Team, Pom-Poms, and Mascot. These groups have done much in graduating the spirit of newly knit Titans to much higher ranks. The pep rallies, sponsored by these groups, were a work of art. These were spent in arousing the spirit of the students to the excitement of the oncoming games. Much hard and diligent work at special camps and practice fields was spent in anticipation of this year. All this work prevailed throughout the year, though the opening showing was the best. This pep rally was everyone's debut for the year, and all strove to be tops in their fields. The Pep Squad, together, as a whole, are the most dedicated followers of the Notre Dame teams, and these teams they back with pride and undying effort.
