1420 , ' we' English students are inspired by literature Various aspects of literature and grammar were covered in all English classes. Exploring such famous works as MOBY DICK and TOM SAWYEFt, juniors became familiar with different writing styles and authors. In addition, sophomores practiced creative writing as well as learning about the structure and grammar that makes a piece of writing good. Senior English students covered a wide area of interests,. beginning with the Old English epic BEOWULF andl studying the progression and development of English literature. Seniors also wrote research papers during third quarter, a project which gave them a chance to broaden their understanding and learn the details of a specific topic.
