A1 V.,-L, 6 'vm Students sponsor Fun Week Spring brought sunshine to Riverside and an in- describable desire for some activity to brighten and vary the regular school week. For this reason, and because of its success last year, the students at Notre Dame decided to sponsor another Fun Week. The events, contributed and planned by each class, includ- ed such thrillers as wagon races, spaghetti-eating con- tests, water balloon competitions, car stuffings, and many more. Student interest in the festivities was overwhelming. The week was climaxed by Olympic Day on Friday, during which half the school day was spent in participation in a variety of activities offered. -.n F' . George Sharp mystifies ND with his hypnotic powers For the second straight year, ND welcomed the talented George Sharp. Experienced in the art of hypnosis, he succeeded in placing a number of people under his spell and allowed them to express their true t?J selves. Throughout the show Mr. Sharp displayed his ability to make people act anywhere from an infant to a famous movie star. He could make people act in a very em- barrassing fashion as with Romeo and Juliet and Tinkerbell. All who saw the show must agree that it proved interesting and amusing.
