Our new teacher seen most un those good old days Was Sugnal Happy Suster Marue Therese Roll call for the Freshman year Had many new names whuch wull mentuon here Carole Schneuder Frances Haug And Theresa Sulva took theur bow Elgue Zauz wuth her medals galore Looked luke MacArthur home from the war Joy Dyquusto Hope Castell And Jean Chuste we soon knew well Natalua Carrasco was quute a gur She managed to keep the class un a whurl Another seat no longer bare Was fulled by Mary Ellen wuth her flame of red haur Joan Fontana louned us that year Wuth her bug cow eyes and pretty brown haur Wuth laughung eyes so pretty and green Ann Radley appeared on the scene A gallop was heard down the corrudors Carol Larney had unvaded our shores W Carmel and Nancy were also there Even then a constant paur Donna McMullan wuth the beautuful nau s Brought to us her fabulous tales One seat was fulled by a gurl from Guam Thus of course was Joyce Untalan Joan Nolan wuth her charmung vouce Came to N D the school of her chouce To our class was brought laughter that fune sunny day When Carol DeMartunu came skup pung our way AS SOPHOMORES WE THOUGHT OUR SELVES QUITE SOPHISTICATED LADIES For we were no longer gust In Suster Marys class all answers wed know Or she would say You II sumply get zero Thus was the year when our spurut proved best For we strove on to wun the Mussuon Queen contest Each day to the bulletun boards we would rush Only to fund on the dance posters Taken do not touch To begun the year at Notre Dame Blanche lbarra from Nucaragua came Sunny Martun we were soon to know She came from Hawauu where the palm trees grow , l , If ' ll ' I e . Jean Patrxck skupped ID her face all abeam The star to be on our volley ball team Then came Leona through the gates To meet her future classmates Grammar school had passed so ast Mighty eighth graders we were at last Slster Cathernne Theresa was almost an author made Wnth her book entitled Sprung Comes to the Etghth Grade The bug events of thus year as we know Were Father Mullen s religion e one and only newcomer lest we forget Was Joan Anzoll who as wnth us yet As graduation day came near We had to decide on what we would wear The dress that we picked was really a flop Wuth the bustle In back and the cape on top AS FRESHMEN OUR EGOS RECEIVED A GREAT BLOW For we were no 'onger the stars of the show This we reallzed as we entered the gate And had to bow to the Seniors so great , , . . f , , , . ,, . f ' ll , . AS .IUNIORS WE GREETED ONE OF THE ALUMNAE We were soon to be under her watchful eye For she was now a member of the faculty None other than Suster Roberta Julue The fondest spot un our memorues dear Was our prom The loveluest nught of the year Toward the end of the year the Senuors we fed When they duned at Luugu s on spaghettu and French bread A blond luttle gal wuth dumples two Was Dolly Sherratt wuth eyes of blue Moura Holness uouned us one day From bonny England far away Iva Ruchard a real Pres a Soon changed her ways and became our pal Who was the gurl so full of fun? Shurley Buanchu us the one THEN CAME THE YEAR WED BEEN WAITING FOR Senuors at last as we entered Room Four There were many new thungs whuch greeted our eyes The Pruncupal the unuforms and the Freshmen so shy Responsubuluty Suster Francus Loretto s pet word Was what our class forever heard At last our Senuor Class was complete For seven new gurls we now were to greet Gaul Josephune Beatruz and Paulune On our campus now were seen Another new name added to our fule Was Juanuta Hall wuth her sparklung smule Lou Gunela came to Room Four Come now gurls Need we say more?
