Whether you have been able to con- tribute successfully or not, depends on the amount you have to give and the enthusiasm with which you have given it. Achievement of any sort essentially means giving-giving of oneself Whole-heartedly, Without reserve. Notre Dame has provided you with a set of Christian principles and has established a climate in which these prin- ciples could grow and become part of you, active in your own minds and hearts.
