Collier. S. Xe-i-h. 28 B.A.C. The Boys' Athletic Council is the stu- dents' voice in the athletic policy of the school. The Council makes training reg- ulations for participants of all sports. approves all varsity. junior varsity. and intramural letter awards. and raises mon- ey which is used by the sports teams. The B.A.C. raises money by operating the concession stand at home basketball games. It also sets up the annual Class games and cares for the trophy case. To become a member of the B..-X.C., a boy must be a captain of a sport. win two letters in one vear. or win two letters in one sport. G.A.C. The Girls, Athletic Council. advised by Miss Geraldine Brown. comprises mem- bers which represent each grade, seven through twelve: there are three officers -a president, a secretary, and a treas- urer. This year they were respectively Elizabeth Maiurano, Karen Ryan, and Margaret Byrne. The members of the organization plan the events of the year that concern extracurricular activities in the girls' physical education program. The two main events this year were the demonstra- tion and the student-faculty game. This year again. the G.A.C. sponsored a successful sale of purple Norwich jack- ets to anyone in G.A.A.
