Dramatics and Thespians Amid costumes, make-up, stage directions and lights. you will find the combined clubs of llramatics and Thespians. This year, with Miss Rosalie Levine as our director, we instituted the Drama Cornerfcall-board-bulletin-board on the first floor. We also saw the start of a new point system-in which points, instead of hours. are awarded each member. These points determine our eligibility in the National Thcspian Society. A bill of one-act plays contained such works as The Telephone, by Gian-Carlo Menotti, and Ulf Men Played Cards as Women Do, by George S. Kaufman. The big production of the year was the Pulitzer Prize play, HOur Townfi by Thomtori Wilder. The beauty of this classic was made even more memorable by the fact that this was the year for its New York revival. '4Our Townw was done by Circle in the Square, off- Broadway theatre.
