Guidance Department The Guidance Department assists students in their edu- cational, vocational, and personal problems. This assis- tance is rendered through helping students to understand themselves and the world of work. Through counseling, students gain insight into themselves and others and are thereby better prepared to solve personal problems. Guidance includes giving educational and vocational in- formation, individual and group counseling, testing, placement in education and work situations, and following study.
