Shakespeare What is a dream? ls it the fantastic thoughts that spring from a child's mind, the burning ambitions of a youth about to embark on manhood, or a maiden's tender cry for her knight in shining armor? It could be any of these things-or nothing. Webster defines a dream as: 'la succession of mental images . . . and like Manhattan Kaleidescope of last year, Fantasia In White was a series of related acts revolving around a central setting-a shop window on a suburban street during the Christmas season. The entertainment highlight of our musical tabloid was the moving and earthly Slaughter On Tenth Avenue ballet, a dancing cast of thirty. Brilliant costumes combined with even more brilliant dancing made this modern ballet a number few will ever forget. Naturally, we, the cast and crew, considered Fantasia the greatest yet, and it was a pleasant little sojourn into the realm of mystery and fantasy . . . to dream, aye, theres the rub.
