Northwood's School Band under the direction of Mr. O. M. Kepler, has fifty-five members at the p r e s ent time. There is also a be- ginners' group. This year the band part- icipated in the University of North Dakota's and May- ville State Teachers Col- lege's homecoming par- ades, played at basketball games and the district tournament, and gave a formal concert on April 30. The highlight of the year's band activities was the Dis- trict Music Festival at Grand Forks where they received a rating of highly Superior. Band , 7i? SZMHISf ffh'c??'?
