Latin students, in a celebration ot Latin Week, April 21 through 25, presented a skit in which they translated stories portraying gods, goddesses, and Romans and reviewed a style show of Roman Fashions. Also a Latin verb was used to demonstrate the many ways English words are derived from Latin words. An unusual assembly was presented on April 28 by Dr. W. W. Anderson who discussed hypnotism. His volunteers were members of the Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Classes, and also students from the Junior High. After he had them in a hypnotic spell, Dr. Anderson directed the volunteers in acts such as The Lone Ranger, pioneer days, and the tightrope walker. ,Q-. r 1 Features

Baseball Batting practice each day at noon during baseball season with practice after school kept the boys always conscious of the coming game. The team won five games, Mechanicsburg, Tecumseh, Southeastern, Graham, and Spring- field Catholic, but lost to Greenon and Miami Central. The Warriors faced Springfield High in the district tournament, but the Wildcats came out on top, 8-l.
