Golf Golf has steadily increased in popularity at Northwestern since it was introduced a tew years ago by Mr. Peters, instructor at the time, Greenon, Northeastern, Graham, Urbana, Catholic Central, London, Xenia, and Troy were opponents for the team this past year. Bowling Those who received individual bowling trophies for the highest series were Carolyn Scott, 439, and Kenny Ray, 5lO. For the highest game Judy Rader, T69, and Kent lvlcClenen, 181, received trophies. Trophies for the best team were pre- sented to Richard Blakely, Bob Dill, Fred and Steve Swan, and Gary Jenkins. Secretary of the bowling league was Joyce Jordon. larry Parker, Kent McClenen, Tim Helfrich, Larry Patton, Bill Smith, Gary Harvey, Judy Rader, Jay Evans, Beverly Carmichael, Mr. Peters.

Industrial Arts Club This club consists of lndustrial Arts and Mechanical Drawing students. Oiticers include, Clarence Rader, president, Wayne Laughman, vice-president, Kenny Ray, secretary, and Roger Carlyle, treasurer. Posture Contest Each school in the county held individual posture contests to select winners to compete in the county contest held at Northwestern. The girls were judged on walking, sitting, stooping, standing, and posture up and down steps. Northwestern, Southeastern, Northeastern, and Tecumseh took part in the county contest, which was ludged by adults selected by Mrs. Heskett. Girls from this school who placed in the county contest were Sandy Hess, 3rd and Marilyn Stewart, Sth.
