RICHARD O. BRINKMAN Principal In 1954-1955 Mr. Brinkman completed his second year as Principal of Northwestern High School. This year marks his fifth year at Northwestern. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Wit- tenberg College and a Master of Education degree from Kent State University. Mr. Brinkman's versatile qualities have been respon- sible for the organization ofm any educational, recre a - tional, and athletic programs. Among these are Adult Education and Recreationalprograms, National Honor Society, and school publications. In addition to his perfomiing the many duties of principal, Mt. Brinkman teaches Typing 11, journa- lism and office practice. Busy or extremely busy, he always finds time to give help when needed. KARL R, BODENBENDER Executive Head This year marks Mr. Bodenbender's third year as Executive Head of the Northwestern Local School District. He served for four years as Superintendent of Glouster Exempted Village Schools before coming to Northwestern. Mr. Bodenbender holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science in Educa- tion degree from Defiance College, and a Master of Arts degree from Miami University. He has also taken additional work in school administration at Ohio University and Ohio State University. He has been a school administrator for eleven years and an educator for the past twenty-one.
