1 ll l t 4 -.1-.-....... Q- 'F ,Wir Graduation - 19 4 Baccalaureate services for the Class of1954 were held Sunday, May 23, in the High School Auditorium. Speaker for the after- noon was Rev. Roland Perkins. Pictured below is the class as they appeared while singing two selections, Teach Me, O Lord and You'll Never Walk Alone . At Commencement on May 25 the graduates, robed in royal LEONA FULLER Valedictorian NANCY BAKER Salutatorian blue, proceeded down the aisle to the strains of Pomp and Cir- cumstance played by the schoolband. Valedictory and Salutatory addresses were given by Leona Fuller and Nancy Baker, while Dr. H. F. Valance delivered the major address. As a climax to their twelve years of effort, the graduates were presented diplomas by Mr. Baker of the Board of Education. Amid handshaking and congratulations, the class of '54, now alumnus, walked out the doors of N. H. S., full of high school memories and eagerly awaiting their departure for Washington and New York the fol- lowing day, but suddenly aware of the added responsibilities they now must bear. fy. 0 4 Ai f
