Rainy Senior Picnic Neither inclement weather nor added costs stopped many seniors from participating in the senior picnic which was held at Patapsco State Park on May 29, 1974. As usual the favorite pastimes were hiking and mountain climbing, but this year the ability to perform daring stunts on the seesaws and swings was an important factor in the senior romp. Naturally after such strenuous activity everyone was ravenous for lunch. Even though conditions weren't ideal, sen- iors splashed around in the mud and made the best of what turned out eventually to be a lovely day. Faculty members and advisors munched on crabs and enjoyed themselves. After several hours on the water the boat pulled in safely to conclude a successful senior activity. 195
