Jr. Prom Promises Disesfer, Produces Parfg Work, time, money, and cooperation went into the planning of a successful Junior Prom which was held at the Eastwind from 9:00 P.M. - 1:00 A.M. on Fri- day, April 13, 1973. Despite all the unlucky influences surrounding the occasion, juniors managed to enjoy a romantic evening of entertainment with the band, Natural Gas. The turn-out was large, however, many revellers were watching and waiting to see when the evil omen of the thirteenth Friday would be realized. Senior Inaugural Qwin s wifh Son The senior inaugural took place on Monday, September 24, 1973. Wear- ing pastel colors, seniors marched from the gym to the auditorium where representatives from South- western and Lake Clifton High Schools were observing the procedure to get ideas for the activities of their first graduating senior class. Offi- cers, advisors, and class members were sworn in with candles and pledges as the senior chorus enter- tained everyone with the class song, Day by Day, and Standing Together written by Director Bill Cummings and Sharon Dickerson. After the rather concise ceremony everyone moved into the hallway and to the courtyard where cameras cap- tured the beautiful day. if of .,,,,, it Director Bill Cummings accompanies the senior chorus.
