Angel Jackson, voted the outstanding senior, placed first on the balance beamg Trina Cunningham came in first for vaultingg Karen DeMines and Francine Scott were first and second on the floor exer- cisesg and Shelly Elliott was third on the uneven bars. Coach Vickie Schaefer stated, The girls Won about as many as they lost. The birdie bashers consisted of ten: three singles players - Sharlene Shugarman, Sheila Hooker, Marlene Shugarmang six doubles players - Debbie Shifrin, Liselle Smothers, Angel Jackson, Karen DeMines, Linda Hameroff, Shena Jones, and a substitute - Deena Randolph. Sharlene Shugar- man, who was voted the outstanding senior player, only lost one match to Lake Clifton, and traveled to the finals Where she took fourth place in the city. L.
