various courses were offered at Northwestern which allowed the students
to acquire a broad background in this field. The courses ranged from
General Biology to Chemistry and Physics, Environmental Study, Small

the student a better understanding of himself and his world.
The science program involved everything from recording changes in
the weather to the dissecting of cats and frogs. Field trips were planned
to give the students a chance to see science in practice.

After completing all required work in the medical laboratory,
qualified students could become certified laboratory aides giving each a
good foundation for any medical care profession.
Because of the many vocational opportunities offered in the medical
care profession and as our students and parents become more aware of
the excellence of the program, we anticipate a full schedule here at
Northwestern next fall.
