Whether in a physical or a spiritual warfare, capable leadership is an essential for any vic¬ torious army. With a commission from on high and a burning zeal within, our faculty has shown to the students, to Christians outside of school, and to the world a triumphant example of true Christian leadership. Serving under the Captain of our Faith, the Lord Jesus Christ, these men and women have brought to us, through their teaching and through their lives, instruction from His Word which will fit us as Christian soldiers for the battle of life. From them we have received instruction in the wielding of the Sword of the Spirit; from them we have applied more fully the armor which God has provided for us; from them we have received training for the great commis- sion—the telling forth of the Gospel message that will bring triumph over sin and death to our neighbors, to our countrymen, and to the uttermost parts of the world.
