Despite the alterations filtering through campus you continued witb tradition. Your daily life was interrupted with budget cuts. Money was alsc saved in labor costs of custodial services in the residence halls a; paper towels and trashcans were removed. Despite the budget woes, the Board of Regents unanimously approved a $100 million plan to build new residence halls . Your finances were strained after local bar owners signed ar agreement in June to eliminate all-you-can-drink specials. Homecoming was pushed back to November; despite frigic temperatures, a crowd of more than 9,000 remained through th( fourth quarter .
