R Our A Message From The President One of the most difficult things in school is for an individual to ap- praise and evaluate the everyday activities one encounters in the campus life brought about by the association of friends while in school. These events are seldom retained by the individual. In future years a resume' of these activities has a tendency to increase in value and thus the pio- ture record compiled by the editors of the Rocketeer becomes sweeter and more precious as the years go by. This has been a great year for Northwest. Our anticipated build- ing and expansion program is being realized. A new cafeteria is now on the planning board and many new facilities are due to follow in order. Since we have a record enrollment, it is my sincere hope that every student at Northwest might have pleasant memories of this the 31st year of Northwest Mississippi Junior College. My congratulations and best wishes to the staff and to the student body on this fine production that has recorded activities of 1957-58. R. D. McLendon President Administrators X M. L. BURKS JAMES P.
