PA CKED Peppy and high-spirited are two words often used to describe our Varsity and JV cheerleaders. Long hours of planning went into our pep ral- lies and banners used to promote school spirit. Even in less than perfect conditions the dedicated cheerleaders kept the spirit going. They also showed their devotion to the squad in other ways. Varsity and J.V. squads went to camp over the summer and were rewarded for their efforts with numerous ribbons for their excellence. The J.V. squad not only re- ceived ribbons, they also won the third place trophy with their routines. Many hard hours were spent at practices learning new cheers and lively routines that would later be used to make the crowd come alive. Both squads had a great sea- son and they did a good job promoting school spirit and Viking Pride, P Senior Amy Stevenson flashes that bright cheerleading smile.
