Attacking the new season with an air of confidence and determination, the powerful Viking cagers knocked downteam upon team, constituting a 6-O pre-Christmas record. Jumping into the season on the right foot the Vikings de- feated visiting Stoneville by a score of 93-50. With a power- ful offensive strategy, the Vikings fought their way to an easy 77-48 over E. Davidson. Undefeated S. Stokes met their fate with a Viking 55-45 victory. The Vikings bounced back to demolish E. Davidson in their second meeting 82-33.In their first conference tilt of the season, the Vikings held the upper hand and defeated Allen Jay 73-49.
