Winding Down The end of school, as always, was filled with activities and anticipation of the coming summer. Victory celebrations swept the school as students rejoiced in North- west's second state baseball champi- onship in school history. Coach Darrel Palmer, who also coached the state champs on the cross-country team, said, 'tlt was super! A dream of a lifetime! The flurry of events ending the school year began with the annual awards assembly May 6, More than 50 awards were presented, with Jamie Jacobs and Eric Percival claiming the top Classen Medals of l-lonor. Eight other seniors won Classeri awards. Ten received Faculty awards, and eighteen were tapped for Princi- pal's awards.
