ophs how Leadership ualities 3 vi Y The spirited Sophomore Class proved to be acdve and energedc as yells of 80 were heard through- out the gym at all of the year's ral- lies. The Sophomore legislators, Peggy Norwhich, Raquel Luis, Tanja Leihitu, and Kim Lewis, joined together with the other four officers to create successful nioney-nuaking acdvihes Such achvides huiuded a Carnation sale, a very profitable candy hearts sale conducted the week before Valentine's Day, and a dance which included a five piece, six singer band named Pisan. The dance was held on November 4th after the last home football game against Bassett. All of this money was put uno the CHass of'80 ac- count to be used in producdon of thel979 Junku-Senkn Pronr 'The two advisors, Ms. Glenda Sweger and Mr. Jim Milhon, supervised all Sophomore Class activities and provided guidance when it was needed.
