ight Party Facility The main purpose of the Senior Class Council was to make prepara- tions for the All Night Party, an annual event taking place in June, following the graduation ceremonies. The Senior All Night Party' committee, which consisted of parents, faculty, and interested seniors, held a poll in which seniors were given an opportunity to vote for their choice of tentative party locations. The most popular choice was to have the party on a ship, but the parents, making the final decision, chose Disneyland. Many seniors were unhappy with the decision and tried desperately to change the location. Due to Disneyland's efficient security system, the parents felt that it was the best place for the party, and held firm to their decision. In January, Mr. Ballard met with the Senior Class officers and legis- lators, Tammy Barton, Cindy Fernando, Melanie Irvine, and Mark Platt. After a long discussion, it was agreed that the negative attitude had to be changed, and that the Disneyland decision needed support. To raise money for the Senior Banquet, the seniors held a dance. The officers, aided by advisors Mrs. Joyce Mooneyhan and Mr. Maury Greer, worked to sell tickets and concessions. Because the All Night Party takes place after graduation it is not considered to be a school function, therefore, all activities to raise funds for the party must be conducted off campus. JAMES R.
