Meetings were held after school on Monday's for the purpose of finding more efficient ways to keep the school running smoothly. In September, before the opening of school, a leadership seminar was held in N-5. Centered around Parliamentary Procedures, Mr, Ballard, Activities Director, set up this seminar in hopes of gaining a more organized, less time consuming method in which to conduct future meetings. Many problems were faced throughout the year, one of the major debates being whether or not a two year limit should be placed on Pep Unit participation. Although the decision was not up to the students, the outcome of the debate was to place no limit. Another major issue dis- cussed this year concerned discontinued use of the school marquee. This discussion was brought about because the Coordinators of Publicity for the past three years have not kept the marquee up to date. The decision was not to discontinue use, but to make sure that the job was done in the future. Although there were several suspensions of officers throughout the year, Leadership learned to work with the eligible officers and the problems set before themg making what they believed to be the most reasonable and logical solutions.
