Cabinet this year, members combined their thoughts and suggestions, and in most cases, reached solutions. Problems began last summer as the elected Vice-President resigned, and the elected Secretary of Records was removed from her office as a result of unsatisfactory grades, thus making the first order of business in September an election to fill the two vacant offices. The victors were Paula Horsley as the Secretary of Records, and Chris Dias as A.S.B. Vice-President. Every Monday, the A.S.B. Cabinet joined with the Leadership group to discuss campus problems. Mr. Ballard, Activities Director, advised the group and assisted Gene Celaya in running the meetings according to agenda. Gene was also aided by A.S.B. Vice-President Chris Dias, whose main re- sponsibility was the organization of all assemblies. Carole McQuillan, Coordinator of Elections, was involved in the new elections system which replaced the previous, inefficient and inaccurate system. Paul Purkhiser, Coordinator of Activities, was in charge of passing approval or disapproval over all requested activities, checking the master calendar to avoid a conflict in events. Coordinator of Pep, Jennifer Dorr had the most time-consumingjob in the Lori Medina Secretary of Correspondence KJ .,3,.,,,, N Carole McQuillan Coordinator of Elections cabinet, responsible for the organization of the year's rallies. The difficulty involved in this job was planning thirty minutes of spirit-raising entertain- ment for approximately 500 people. Roxane Moore, Student Body Treasurer, efficiently handled all A.S.B. funds, keeping a current record of the school's financial business. Coordina- tor of Publicity, Tim Croushore was responsible for keeping the school and community informed about extra-curicular activities. Planning the 1977-78 Homecoming, Basketball Royalty, and Luau, was Sandy Muench, Coordinator of Special Events. Sandy proved that although tightly budgeted, these events could be successful. Lori Medina, Secretary of Correspondence, was in charge of handling interrelations with other school A.S.B. departments. Lori's duties included typing, running off and mailing letters to last year's alumni inviting them to Homecoming '77. Taking minutes at all Leadership meetings, organizing and typing agendas and minutes, Paula Horsley fulfilled her responsibilities as Secretary of Records. Throughout the year, the A.S.B. Cabinet worked together, attempting to solve all problems set before them, and making Northview a better place to be. 1 1. 'wma-we I ' 4 is 247
