Stu- dents involved in N.V.T.V. attended the club meetings as an adult-ed class because the class involved communica- tions and was offered by Tri-Community, under the super- vision of Mr. Rich DeRosa. In November, N.V.T.V. scripted and filmed an animated movie involving Arab forces engaged in warfare against the Foreign Legion. A set, consisting of a fort, sand dunes, mountains, and armies was constructed by members and used in this project. N.V.T.V. members received experience by helping facul- ty set up and operate video machines for classroom use. Also, N.V.T.V. filmed Play Production and choir perfor- mances for students involved to view themselves as an audience would. Throughout the year, commercials involving fictitious products were written, directed, and filmed on a video- camera by members of N.V.T.V., enabling them to practice various operations involved with the media. George Bory studies position of camera subject.
