ADAIR 18 Seniors This year the Class of '78 had one of the most time-consuming jobs in the past four years, plan- ning the Senior All-Night Party. Leading the class officers, legis- lators, and class council was Tom Wood. He attended all meetings from Leadership to class council. He also represented the seniors at the parents' meeting for the All- Night Party. Assisting Tom in duties was Monica Nichols. Mon- ica presided over meetings when the president was not there and scheduled people to work at the dances. First semester, Maria Aliaga, secretary, kept minutes of all the meetings. Taking care of the financial needs of the Class of '78 was Mia Adair. She kept accurate records of all deposits and withdrawals from dances and fundraisers of the Senior Class. Though each officer had his or her specific job, they also worked as a unit and carried out details for any special event they spon- sored. lv ,x JEFF M. ABRAMOWITZ DELPHINE M. ACOSTA ELIZABETH A. JOHN A. BANKER DAVID BARACKMAN fi f LETICIA BARRAGAN KELLY D. BARTON ANS MOUR EATH OF ELVIS PRESLEY A worldwide feeling of sorrow was evident the day that Elvis Presley, the King of Rock 'n Roll passed away. His death, in August 1977 had been at- tributed to many causes. One of the biggest con- tributors to his heart attack was an overweight problem Elvis had been fighting for several years. As the day of Elvis' death burrows deeper into the past, he is still remembered for his unique and rather sexy dancing, his quality voice, and warm person- ality, Elvis Presley has left the world with a legacy that will ensure his rememberance for many years to come.
