They played many of the better teams in the area and were fortunate enough to emerge victorious in about seventy percent of the con- tests. They didn't score less than forty points in any game and they scored in the sixties in many of them. Because of a better than average rec- ord the Vikings were invited to play in the Cali- fornia lnterscholastic Federation playoffs. The valuable experience we gained this year will enable Northview to enter Mountview League next year with confidence. Northview High School should be proud of their very fine 1960- 1961 basketball team. Collett for two points. 107
