Volleyball Lower left: Practice makes perfect. NHS volleyball players polisfi their moves during after school practices. Lower right: An NHS Junior Varsity player served the ball to the opposing team. The serve was an ace. The JV Volleyball team had an excellent season. Their record was 10-3. The team, made up of 5 freshmen, 4 sophomores, and one junior, shows great promise for the next few years. The Varsity finished in the top half of the Three Rivers Confer- ence with three of the girls being selected for post-season honors. Leslie Hawkins was chosen for the All-Conference first team, Tricia Hug and Angie Helvey were given honorable mention. The final re- cord was 8-13.
