Football Team Sets New Records The outstanding football team broke many records this season. They posted the best season record in Northfield ' s history (9- 1). They also managed to win six home games, defeat all Wabash County schools, and ranked ninth among the class A teams in the state. Thirteen seniors led the team through this season. They were Jeff Lawrence, Eric Sinclair, John Chowning, Keith Clark, Ken Dawes, Scott Harris, Dan Metzger, Dan Vandermark, Jim Holmes, John Johnson, Gregg Reed, Tim Shafer, and Kevm Reed. Coaches Winegardner and Coppler fire the team up for a game.
