Betsy Deeter set a new record at North- field She scored 1,000 points in her high school career of basketball- Receiving the Rhonda Shaw award for out- standing citizenship, character, service, and academics was Julie Christman The award IS presented yearly by Mrs, Bickel, Tim Shafer was honored with a trophy from the F.O.P. as the Senior Outstanding Athlete. Renata Slisher received an award for com- pleting all Home Ec courses.

Many hours of practice are manditory to create teamwork, sportsmanship, and good times. If you accomplish the above three, you will discover the thrill of ath- letics. Part of that thrill is the conferences held in those smelly locker rooms. One such talk might go like this; Come on boys, let ' s get fired up. We ' ve got two more quarters to finish this game.
