Jr. Miss The 1980-81 Jr. Miss program, sponsored by Roann Jaycees, in- cluded seven contestants. They were Sharon Smith, Maria Carr, Julie Renbarger, StefFany Smith, Daria Carr, Teresa Frehse, and Angela Hensley from Wabash. The week of September 14 was Jr. Miss Week, which kept the girls busy. The final program was held September 20, Julie Renbarger was crowned 1980-81 Jr. Miss and Maria Carr received Spirit of Jr. Miss. The girls were judged on poise and appearance, physical fit- ness, and their performing arts presentation. DRAGONFEST Northfield drama students took a detour from the traditional route of the spring play. They gave a Children ' s Theater Production which they called Dragonfest. The production was composed of two short playS; The Invisible Dragon and ' The Liberated Dragon. The plays were presented at all MSD elementary schools and at NHS. The perfor- mances were well received and en- joyed by all audiences.
