Ron Teats was stopped short of a first down by the Ram defense. Mark Russell ran in for a quick flip. IN early November, students gladly took one-half a day off as members of the faculty attended a teachers' meeting. Later in the month, students were given a two-and-a-half-day vacation to celebrate Thanks- giving Day. Along with the vacation, students were also rewarded with a juke box to be played during the lunch shifts. For the first few days, eager students crowded around the juke box, anxious to play their favorite songs. The juke box arrived just in time for the Dance Club to try it out at their first club meeting. Rick Durst showed his gymnastic ability while trying Northern's defense hungrily awaited the attack of the to gain yardage in the snow. Southern Rams.

ce ies a ite ines 2. The Huskies built up their confi- dence as they scored a touchdown early in The Game against arch- rival Southern. With 4th down, the Huskie offense lined up, confident they would make the necessary yardage for a Ist down. THE yearbook staff was also bustling with activities during this month. In order to raise money, the yearbook staff canvassed students, faculty and residents of the outlying communities looking for prospective fruit-cake customers. Besides selling fruitcakes, the yearbook staff also held their annual auction in November. The whole student body joined in this event as they were all given the opportunity to bid for their favorite items. The hottest items for sale proved to be the live animals as they brought cries of oohs aahs as well as lots of money from the audience. The Huskie offense met in the huddle to discuss their plan for demolishing Southern's strong defense.

YEARBOOK AUCTION Raymond Bender skillfully con- ducted the auction. Who invited you? On the last day of the month, the Senior Class held it's annual Senior Party. We May Never Pass This Way Again was the theme for the party, and after all the food was consumed everyone was exhausted from dancing, many Seniors felt like never passing this way again. Did you ever get the feeling we aren't welcome here? The yearbook staff couldn't keep the smiles off their faces as anxious stu- dents raised the bids higher higher. This fuzzy little kitten was just one of the many items sold at the auction.
