The next week students received two days offas the teach- ers attended the State Teachers Meeting. The football team, fresh from last week's win, played Bishop Walsh in the annual Homecoming game. We lost the game 49-12, but the spirit of the evening remained as Donna Hine- baugh was crowned Queen and a dance followed the game. Aren't homecoming games fun? Donna Hinebaugh, Homecoming Queen, was proudly escorted by her brother, Greg. The Huskie defense led by Ron Blocher, Mark Lawson, Stu Myers, Mark Frantz, Rick Durst, and Joe Wilhelm remained strong throughout the Bishop Walsh game. 17

OMECOMING The thrill of being chosen Homecoming Queen was captured in the ex- pression on Donna's face. Robin Butler and Patty Fauber were two of the ten members of the Pom Pom Girls who performed with the band for the first time at the Home- coming game.

OCTOBER held honor for the F.F.A. st udents as some of the members traveled to Kansas City where they received national recognition for their achievement in community development. The entire student body enjoyed a day at the movies as they watched the educational movie, King Kong . Students outdid themselves selling magazines as they exceeded their goal by over $1,000.
