The club officers are: President-Blaine Green, Vice- President--Carl Mazer, Secretary--Jack Caruthers Treasurer-Reed Richter, and Sentinel-Paul Baier. The Future Farmers ofAmer- ica is an organization for boys studying vocational agriculture in high school. It is the largest farm boy organization in the world with chapters in the forty- eight states, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The Cove Chapter which is chartered by the Maryland and National organizations has one hundred and twenty members. Activities sponsored by the F,F,A. are: The Annual Sweet- heart Dance and Contest, Parent and Son Banquet, and the Farm Operation. Toward NewIrIorizons, is the motto ofthe Future The Club Officers Delores Frazee is President of the Future Busi- ness Leaders.Marie Bowman is Vice -President and Shelby Deihl is Secretary. Shirley Friend and Donna DeWitt are Treasurer and Reporter, respect- ively. These girls have done a fine job and the students appreciate all their kind services. Senior Future Homemakers of Tomorrow Homemakers ofAmerica. This clearly expresses the purpose ofthe organization---learning to live better today in order that our lives and those of our families may be better tomorrow. Senior Future Business Leaders of America The Future Business Leaders of America was organized in 1954. There are twenty members in the Senior Club. Some ofthe Activities of the club are: typing the Accident Elementary Newspaperg being re- sponsible forthe cafeteria ticket salesg and typing for members of the faculty. Typing and mimeo- graphing is also done by the group for local organ- izations and churches. The Junior F.B.L.A. Members are inducted into the club only after they complete a brief, but strenuous iniation and pass an oral and written test. The Club Officers Patricia Minnick is the presiding lady in the Future Homemakers Club. Marie Platter is Vice President, Sue Loechel-Secretary, Helen Hetrick--Treasurer, Tressia Wilburn and Ruth Ann Hare -Representatives, June Lee Corle -Song Leader, Kathleen Emory-Social Chairman, and Marlene Spiker-Parliamentarian.
