Dedication To dedicate a yearbook to its adviser, as we have done, is perhaps as uncommon as snow in January and flowers in spring. But, the 1969 Cauldron has indeed an uncom- mon adviser — Professor Harvey Vetstein. Many flowery and overused phrases can and usually will be employed in a dedica- tion but, in the case of Prof. Vetstein, they are unneeded. The pictures on these pages, perhaps best of all, indicate the character of the man. He is at once a friend and a counsel- lor, an educated man and a down-to-earth guy. When he attended Northeastern he was known as the Phantom. To us of the Cauld- ron he is Harvey. To everyone with whom he comes in contact he ' s a helluva nice guy. This book is dedicated to Harvey Vet- stein. He deserves it.
