IT's The cold feeT aT fooTball games, The Pep Club screaming our Team To vicTory, and The crowning of The King and Queen. TradiTion is also found in The anxious awaiTing of The ouTcome of The Mr. and Miss Plainsman conTesT and The selecTion of The Top Hands. The class meeTing, graduaTion, signing of year- books, and The shouTing of good-byes aT The end of each quarTer. All of This is parT of The TradiTion aT NorTheasTern Junior College.

IT's The many hours of counseling from our Teachers; Their warm smiles and Their sponsoring of The many organizaTions. IT includes The worrying over mid-Terms and finals, The hard work on Research Papersewhich you Thought would never be finished. Guid- ance plays a parT in The books we carry To class each day, The noTes we Take, The many pens we use. IT is The assignmenTs we can'T figure OUT, The waiTing for our grades over vacaTion, and The feeling of a quarTer well done. BuT, mosT of all, guidance is The hope of our exhausTed Teachers ThaT Their sTudenTs have The desire To learn, ThaT They are learning here aT NorTheasTern Junior College and ThaT They con- Tinue To learn in The fuTure.
