Studies, Safety Ed The purpose ot the Physical Education program is to teach students good sportsmanship and a fundamental knowledge ot seasonal games and physi- cal skills. Northeastern participates in the York County interscholastic League S , in addition to an intramural program. ' f Health classes discuss personal adiustment, hrst aid, the systems ot the body, and human relationships. ln safety education pupils are taught the best methods of driving. These methods are learned in both classes and behind-the-wheel training. The aims ot this department are to develop manual driving skills, courtesy, and winter driving techniques.
