Slowly at First, Then All Too Quickly As their last year slipped away, the seniors took on a strange posture. With lag- ging feet, they tried to look both forward and backward at the same time. Already beginning to fall into perspective were their years as lowerclassmen. They re- called sentimentally the uncertainty and ex- citement of being sophomores learning their way around the senior high school. As jun- iors, they had begun to pursue their individual academic interests and talents, to assume re- sponsibility and take leadership in related school activities.
