Page 23 Many talents are found in art classes. Here lack Gothard, Billy Biggs and Terry Larkin are experimenting with paints while Bettie Ball and Fludre McClure paint posters and Ruth Carter works with Wood crafts. How are you coming, asks Norma Craig of Ruth Finn Sandstedt at the typewriter. Marie Hrrigo and Barbara Baragar study exchanges While Mari- lyn Grossoehme and Ioan Bingham learn an art of journalism. Kenneth HofMann, Gene Cederdahl, Ioan Inbody, and Iohn Proffitt gather around Miss Clark's desk for help on a difficult geometry problem. Plays are the major interest in speech class. Trying out for roles are: lanet Ringler, directory lean Ianke, proposing to Bonne Bentzg and Marilyn Gustafson and Shirley Worley awaiting the answer!

DON DICKINSON FRHNCIS REZEK president sponsor Iunior class officers for the second semester are: Gwen Mohler, secretary, Fritz Davis vice president, Don Dickinson, president, and Leanor Strain, treasurer. Juniors The juniors, next year's promising seniors, are ambitiously taking part in all school ac- tivities. Being Well represented in student leadership, Bockettes, N Club, Girl Be- serves, G. H. Pl., Hi-Y, beginning and ad- vanced journalism staffs, the all-school plays, music groups, art, athletics, and year- book staff, the juniors are preparing them- selves for their senior tasks next year. Besides these extracurricular activities, the juniors are building a solid foundation in the classroom. Principles of English, mathematics, history, and other subjects will prove valuable to them in the future. Through their classwork, activities, and Iunior class officers for the first semester are: Pat Shields, secretary, jim Blessing, vice-presi- dent, and Frances Hanson, treasurer. companionship they are developing a Well balanced life. Honoring the seniors With the junior- Senior prom at the Cornhusker Hotel, the juniors finished a busy year. The first semester cabinet included: Don Dickinson, president, Fritz Davis, vice-presi- dent, Gwen Mohler, secretary, and Leanor Strain, treasurer. Tomorrows lesson proves to be a hard assignment for Harry Spencer, Gene Draper, Gayle Voller, lim Wrath, and lim Liggett in algebra. The fundamentals of bookkeeping are reviewed by Elaine Berg, Norma , Cameron, Barbara Glantz, Phyllis Pat- W te-rson, and Evelyn Buettgenbach. Lucia Wills, Shyrli Cramer, Leanor Strain, Frances Hanson, Cozier Kline, and Betty Green complete the clay's lesson in typing.
