FUREWURD FUR NURIJLYS Not long ago a whrmsrcal lrttle fellow dressed lrke a nrnth century Vrklng walked unto the yearbook class and announced that he Wanted to be shown Northeast from twelfth grade English literature to ad vanced mechanrcal drawrnq At frrst a lrttle abashed by anyone so dls trnqurshed as a Norseman forebear the Nordlys staff soon recovered and pornt ed out to Nordbert fthat was hrs namey most of the frner points whrch mark the and of course educational Then someone had an Idea that Nordbert would make a very frttrng theme for the 48 Nordlys He agreed to pose for the rllus tratrons and the staff artrst sketched off such a remarkable lrkeness that rt was de crded then and there So here he rs your esteemed ancestor Nordbert, re enactrng some of the scenes that caught hts eye on this frrst tour of Northeast school as being interesting, progressive, ll ll ' I I
