There are sacerdotal duties which must be fulfilled, such as saying Mass, admin- istering the sacraments to the students, and traveling far and near on ministry. Add to these a rigorous teaching schedule, plus time-consuming extra- curriculars, and you have an idea of an Oblate's daily activities. These Oblates are molders of Catholic gentlemen, constructors of character and right-conscience, and dedicated laborers for the Faith. They have trained us in the sciences, arts, and social graces needed for future accomplishment. Most important of all, they have instilled in us the Salesian Spirit, a way of life in which, for the love of God, actions are done extra- ordinarily well. Andleven our most insignificant thoughts are directed to God. We have taken hold of this Spirit, and will never let it go-TENUI NEC DIMITTAM. This facet of community life is not familiar to the students, but is an all-important function of these men of God.
